Lou Dynia

Lou Dynia: Singer & Songwriter

Markus Ludynia was born on June 7, 1973. He grew up in a small village close to the German-Dutch border and discovered his love of music when he was still a child. He began to sing very early in his life and kept experimenting with numerous different instruments. However, he always went back to singing, being completely fascinated by the power and unlimited possibilities of voice.

One day, his mother gave Markus a guitar as a present and thus opened the way for the singer and songwriter LOU DYNIA. However, after graduating from grammar school, he first tried to do something solid and worked as an industrial sales management assistant. Still, music occupied most of his life and he kept feeling the urge to make more out of it, so after a couple of years, he quit his job to be able to dedicate himself completely to his passion.

Between 2001 and 2005, he studied pop and jazz music with Adrienne West, Ronald Douglas and Silvia Droste at the ArtEZ School of Music in the Netherlands. But he quickly found out that he belongs on stage, which is why he cut his studies short, listened to his inner calling and went his own way as a singer, guitar player, composer and pianist. In order to be able to make a living, he played countless gigs with an acoustic cover music program in front of small as well as big audiences.

Slowly but surely, his fan community grew. Lou delighted his audience again and again with his catchy melodies, melancholic singing and emotional compositions, both alone and with his complete band, often to a full house. With his charismatic and unique voice, Lou is able to add a very personal touch to his singing and creates a fascinating closeness to his listeners. He sings right into their hearts. In the beginning, he mainly performed cover songs, but during the last years, he has been much more occupied with his own ideas and compositions.

His first album “Live & Acoustic” was released in 2003, followed by “Everything” (2004) and “Handmade” (2006). In autumn 2010, his new album „Seven Days“ was released, packed with 13 very melodic self-composed songs. By now, Lou is not a nameless artist anymore. For “Seven Days”, he was able to get the support of highly talented and well known musicians, which makes it a high-end debut album worth waiting for!
